['Former Drum & Bass Work PT.01. 2002 – 2004']

The very first version of ['Snowflakes'] sung by Miss K is a major highlight on this album, but that's not where the evolution in sound began. Countless rhythms beat within Rawtekk's hearts as they traversed the realms of electronic music. Then, Drum and Bass came along with its grimy, dripping, underground clubs, and it led them on a spiritual journey and adventure – awakening a deep-seated love for the genre.

Rawtekk had just received their first live act bookings, notably at Hamburg's renowned Hoch 10 parties, hosted by legendary promoter Gerald Steyr. Although Stefan and Christine had immersed themselves into Drum and Bass nights, they had not yet ventured into its musical production.

Just three weeks prior to their debut performance, they made the pivotal decision to create tracks that could capture the unique vibe of Drum and Bass and present it to the audience. The response was electrifying, and from that point onwards, Rawtekk made it their mission to consistently broaden their musical spectrum.

They turned up as a straightforward Drum and Bass act while still embarking on their exploration of distinctive sounds, seamlessly weaving them all into their sets. The first 45 out of 90 minutes typically featured songs from the ['Open Borders'] and ['About'] albums, along with early versions of their Trauma & Art Pop Electronic Work tracks such as ['Anywhere'] and ['Take your Prize'].

Fans and friends were shocked and delighted in equal measure on experiencing their live performances. Many friends had wondered how Rawtekk instantly conjured up these floor-filling, pulsating Drum and Bass club tracks… little did they know that so much more was to come as the duo set out to conquer the sound.
